Cypriot Early jug with pointed base.: -Early Bronze Age I-II (2300-1900 BC)
Jug with cut-away spout, a nodule at the top of the arched handle (somewhat like the eye on the Philia jug) and another at the base of the handle, with the ovoid body tapering to a point. I have no idea why some Early Cypriot vessels were made with pointed bases.
Size: Size 29cm high
(Ex G. Kyriacou collection, London, formed between the late 1970s-2002.)
