Cypriot bottle with nipple base.: Early Bronze Age I -II. (2400 -2100BC)
A very early bottle with cut-away spout and nipple base, and large nodules decorating both ends of the handle. To stand upright it would have required a ring shaped stand. Could the base have suggested the condense should be drunk in one go by those present before it was put down? Probably to serve wine or beer?
Size: 29cm high
